Why Dr. Baldassarre built Riverside Psychology the way she did
A neuropsychological evaluation should be an informative and personalized experience. Long waitlists and complicated paperwork can prevent individuals from accessing the care they need.
Dr. Baldassarre recognized these barriers within the current system and believed there was a better way. With a commitment to creating a more welcoming, patient-friendly experience, she set out to make that vision a reality.
Riverside Psychology was built around a higher standard of care: timely scheduling, a calming office environment, and clear, easy-to-understand results and feedback.
The coffee bar in the waiting room isn't a quirk. It's an intention.
About Dr. Megan Baldassarre, PsyD, ABPP
Dr. Baldassarre completed her doctoral training and postdoctoral fellowship at Dartmouth, one of the most selective training environments in clinical neuropsychology. She went on to work at the Advocate Memory Center and in neurology private practice, developing a deep specialty in cognitive changes related to aging, neurological conditions, and brain injury.
She holds board certification through the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN/ABPP), placing her among fewer than 30 board-certified neuropsychologists in the greater Chicagoland area. She is an active member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN) and holds PSYPACT credentials, enabling her to provide evaluation services across 42 states.
She founded Riverside Psychology to bring that level of training closer to home, to a region where specialized neuropsychological services had historically required a hospital referral or a months-long wait.
